CT Tech II PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech II PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Tech II PRN, you will be responsible for performing post-processing on CT/MRI data sets, maintaining quality control measures, and ensuring the proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform post-processing on CT/MRI data sets
  • Maintain quality control measures of the 3D Lab, CT/MRI department
  • Ensure proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment
  • Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams)
  • Assist the department manager in-patient charging accuracy
Requirements:
  • Demonstrates knowledge in all areas of CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors associated with the CT, MRI and post processing systems
  • Communicates well with others, is able to prioritize tasks, and acts as a mentor to staff as needed while providing quality in-services and instructions
  • Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules
  • Must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times
  • Must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors
