Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Women's Services team at SSM Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our labor and delivery unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for women and newborns, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery, promoting woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care.
- Evaluate progress toward expected outcomes, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and compassion within the unit.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, or equivalent.
