Job Summary

U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Operations: Coordinate and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Logistics and Planning: Collaborate with dispatch and transportation teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, including logs, customer signatures, and out-of-state mileage logs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
