Job Title: RN Senior Clinical Data Quality Specialist

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Senior Clinical Data Quality Specialist in our Newark, Delaware location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented RN to lead our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one or more clinical registries, ensuring compliance with external reporting criteria, and collaborating with key stakeholders to assess and improve quality measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage one or more clinical registries and ensure compliance with external reporting criteria.
  • Lead, facilitate, and coordinate Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and improve quality measures.
  • Identify trends, concerns, opportunities in the data through abstraction process or published reports and present this information to Thoracic Surgery team.
  • Reconcile and resolve any discrepancies within abstracted data.
  • Develop and implement data validation methodologies for both external and internal quality data.
  • Develop and implement workflows to support new/expanded registries.
  • Work with members of the quality team, Service Line leadership, and Office of Quality and Patient Safety to identify and close gaps in care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree from an accredited school required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of related Thoracic Surgery, Surgical, or Oncology nursing experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Registered Nurse required.
