We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, receiving donations, and promoting sales for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Donation Processing: Receive and process donations in an efficient and organized manner, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Sales Floor Support: Assist customers with loading and unloading donations, and provide support to sales floor associates as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the organization and placement of merchandise on the sales floor, adhering to our Picture Process Map (PPM) standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers to move merchandise and equipment as needed.
- Safety and Security: Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment and ensure that all safety rules are followed.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive experience for donors and customers.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with donors, customers, and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of customer service experience.
