Job Title: Critical Care Nurse - ICU

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team for night shifts. This role requires strong critical care skills, including rhythm identification and management. The candidate will need to demonstrate expertise in reading rhythms and pass a proctored test with over 80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% in critical rhythm identification.

Responsibilities:

  • Work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) in the ICU.
  • Manage patients on telemetry and ventilators.
  • Utilize Epic and Omnicell for patient care and medication management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide critical care in high-stakes situations.
  • Participate in the hospital's rhythm identification proctored test.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 years of ICU specialty experience.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
  • Proficiency in reading and identifying heart rhythms, with the ability to pass a hospital-administered test.
  • Experience with Epic charting and Omnicell medication systems.
  • Expertise in telemetry and ventilator management.
