As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you'll be part of our team in the inpatient department at Cedar Avenue, our state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital and Crisis Response Center.

About the Role

You'll work closely with attending physicians, collaborating on patient care plans and developing effective treatment strategies. Your expertise will help shape the lives of our young patients and their families, making a lasting impact on their mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced assessments to inform patient care plans, analyzing data to formulate family-centered treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive positive outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain competencies in your role, participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
  • Act as a consultant to healthcare professionals, serving as a resource for patient and family education, and providing mentorship opportunities for nurses and other providers.
Education Qualifications

A Master's degree in nursing is required for this position. We encourage candidates who are passionate about advancing pediatric care and committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
