**Environmental Services Associate**

**Job Summary:**

At Mimbres Memorial, we are committed to providing a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

**Responsibilities:**

* Replenish room supplies, including hand sanitizer and restock clean linen in assigned departments as needed.
* Remove biohazard waste, trash, and soiled linen from care units and transport to appropriate collection areas according to safe handling procedures.
* Clean and disinfect trash transport carts, linen carts, and housekeeping carts.
* Remove pharmaceutical waste according to safe handling procedures.
* Perform carpet care, including vacuuming, extracting, and bonneting as required.
* Perform discharge and daily patient room cleaning according to checklists to ensure compliance with infection control standards.

**Qualifications:**

* High school graduate or GED preferred, and/or 1 year of janitor and/or housekeeping experience may substitute for preferred education.
* 1 year of work experience preferred.
