Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare and management of care to women before, during, and after pregnancy, including newborn care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition as necessary.
- Offer education and counseling to patients and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, contraception, family planning, and gynecological care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote informed choices, shared decision-making, and patient autonomy.
Licensure and Certification:
BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Midwife credentialed from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) required prior to hire date.
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date.
