Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse with STAT Home Health, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise patient care and coordinate all aspects of patient care, including initiating and updating the plan of care.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including Oasis, 485, and order submission, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervise, orient, and teach other clinical personnel as needed to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including problem resolution and complaint investigation.
- Current Louisiana RN license and CPR certification required.
- RN with a master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing, or RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing with one year of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic.
- Compassionate Psychiatric RN with excellent time management skills and a strong understanding of diagnoses and treatments of mental disorders and medication side effects/effects.
- Previous Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
