Job Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard a Correctional Facility in Burke County, Morganton, NC. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, working in various environments and conditions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Meet licensing requirements, which may include obtaining a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registration and a valid driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years.
  • Successfully complete a physical agility test, including a 1-1/2 mile run and push-ups within designated timeframes.
  • Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
