The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Department of Critical Care Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric cardiac intensivist at the level of Associate Professor, tenure-stream committed to patient care, resident and fellow education, and clinical or laboratory research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (CICU)
- Contribute to resident and fellow education in pediatric cardiac critical care
- Engage in clinical or laboratory research in pediatric cardiac critical care
- Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatric critical care medicine or pediatric cardiology
- Additional fellowship training in pediatric cardiac critical care or dual-boarded in CCM and cardiology
- 40% research, 30% clinical, 20% teaching, and 10% service time allocation
