Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will work as a licensed professional and use the nursing practice model to oversee patient care by the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses for health issues, and developing personalized care plans.

  • Assess patients and prioritize their needs
  • Create and adjust care plans for better results
  • Assess your nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness
  • Help teach patients and staff
  • Use strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff

What Will Make You Successful In The Role

  • Having an in-depth understanding of nursing as well as patient care standards and procedures
  • Understanding legal, regulatory, and professional standards, as well as certification and accreditation requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A knack for addressing problems with critical thinking
  • Monitoring patients' health and communicating changes efficiently to nursing staff and healthcare providers

Qualifications

  • Accredited program or 2 years minimum, required for this position
  • A major focus or specialization in Nursing
  • Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a year would suffice
