Job Title: Registered Nurse - OB Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an OB Specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in obstetric and gynecologic care, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and maternal-fetal health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to women with high-risk pregnancies, including those with complications such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal growth restriction.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical exams, laboratory tests, and fetal monitoring.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on topics such as fetal development, pregnancy complications, and postpartum care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in obstetric and gynecologic care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an obstetric or gynecologic setting.
  • Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) certification in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN) certification in Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with patients with high-risk pregnancies, including those with complications such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal growth restriction.
  • Knowledge of fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
