Kean University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the field of psychology at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in a related field and teaching experience, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality education to students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in psychology, including General Psychology, Statistics, Tests and Measurements, Research Methods, and specialty areas such as Physiological Psychology, Industrial and Organizational (IO) Psychology, and Forensic Psychology.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to students, including office hours and virtual availability.
- Stay current with developments in the field of psychology and incorporate relevant research and best practices into teaching and course design.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as psychology, education, or a related field.
- Teaching experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality education to students.
- Proficiency in a Learning Management System, consistent with University guidelines.
- Doctoral degree in a related field, such as psychology, education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
- Strong background in research methods and statistical analysis.
