Responsibilities:
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and growth-oriented Physical Therapist committed to excellence to join our dynamic team.
We primarily serve orthopedic patients, including post-operative care for hips, knees, and shoulders, as well as spine pain management, with a significant focus on work-related injuries and an expanding sports medicine segment.
We aim to enhance our team to better serve our diverse patient population.Skills in traditional orthopedics, sports medicine, and pain management are advantageous, and we welcome new graduates with relevant clinical experience.
Availability for at least two evenings per week is required.Key Duties:
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments
- Manage an average patient load of 10 per day
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation through Therapy Source
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including medical records and surgical reports
- Accurately transcribe and process medical orders
- Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Provide instruction and counseling to patients and their families as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Certification in BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment, as mandated by state regulations.
