We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at American Tire Depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing front-end mechanical repairs, including alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, fluid exchanges, and repairing/replacing components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, and radiators.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine problems and electrical system malfunctions.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure that all mechanical issues are addressed and resolved.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- At least 2 years of professional mechanical experience working in automotive repair.
- Energetic, ethical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to examine and identify necessary repairs and maintenance needed.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift 70 lbs. and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
