Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry

Start Date: Immediate availability required

Patient Ratios: 1:4-6

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years preferred, with travel experience necessary

Weekend Commitment: Required to work 3 weekends within a 4-week schedule

On-Call Requirement: Not required

Floating: Must be willing to float to all adult acute care units, including Med Surg and Stepdown

Local Candidates: Accepted with no radius restrictions

Pending Licenses: Accepted if active by the start date

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 3 shifts of 12 hours, 48 hours for 4 shifts of 12 hours, and 40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours.

Job Requirements
  • Active state license required by start date
  • Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory
  • Telemetry experience is essential
  • Knowledge in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is required
  • Agreement to work 3 weekends in a 4-week period
  • Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 is necessary
  • Modules are not billable; please account for 5 hours
Schedule Information
  • 36 hours for 3 shifts of 12 hours
  • 48 hours for 4 shifts of 12 hours
  • 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)
  • Floating to all adult acute care units is required
  • 3 weekends per 4-week schedule

  • Open to accommodating block scheduling, to be determined
