Job SummaryAs a Surgical Technician, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other surgical personnel to deliver exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting in direct patient care, maintaining aseptic technique, and preparing surgical equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in direct patient care in the operating room
- Maintain aseptic technique, including scrubbing, gowing, and draping
- Prepare surgical equipment and supplies
- Operate surgical equipment
- Organize instrumentation and the sterile field
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and pass instruments
- Perform surgical counts and wound closure
- Participate in general operating room activities and emergency preparedness
