Key Responsibilities
  • Domain Authority: Serve as a subject matter expert for nVent Data Solutions products, providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Product Support: Offer first-line assistance to customers and colleagues, utilizing your expertise to resolve technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Quote and Proposal Development: Evaluate customer RFQs, create detailed quotes and proposals, and provide technical and commercial content to support sales efforts.
  • Technical Application Assistance: Collaborate with customers to identify modified and engineered products that meet their specific requirements, providing technical guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Product Training: Conduct training sessions for customers and distributors on nVent products and services, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to effectively utilize our solutions.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Prepare and submit compliance documents, ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Leadership: Lead strategic projects aimed at improving product offerings, reducing costs, and developing new products, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive success.
  • Training and Development: Review and update training literature, ensuring that it accurately reflects our products and services, and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Industry Representation: Represent nVent in industry codes and standards committees, contributing to the development of industry standards and best practices.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide market-specific insights and feedback to commercial teams, assisting them in developing effective sales strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales teams to identify project opportunities, provide technical support, and ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering, or equivalent work experience in Data Center engineering.
  • Experience: Ideally 5+ years of experience in a technical applications role supporting Data Center solutions.
  • Skills: Strong technical background in Data Center Power needs, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work 100% remotely with occasional travel.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of High-Density Liquid Cooling Solutions in the Data Center space.
