Job Title: Clinical Physician, Family Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physician to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Clinical Physician, you will be responsible for providing quality direct patient care and assisting in the coordination of department services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical history, reports, and examination results.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Advise patients, family members, and community members concerning treatment and prevention.
  • Examine patients or order, perform, and/or interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical conditions and determine diagnoses.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of a medical residency program.
  • Successful completion of a medical internship program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8 years of recent relevant experience.
  • MD-Doctor of Medicine or DO-Doctor of Osteopathy of California certification.
  • CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) certification.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialty.
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification.
Work Environment:

This position is exempt and requires a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week. The work environment is a hospital setting with occasional Saturday work.
