Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data to the healthcare team for optimal diagnosis and treatment monitoring of disease states.
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Operate general laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes, to ensure accurate and efficient test results.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless laboratory operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited program.
- Current and active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or American Medical Technologist as Medical Laboratory Technician (AMT).
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab setting.
