Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

At Safran, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Rochester, NH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of 3D woven composite engine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the part manufacturing process
  • Create and update procedures and work instructions
  • Monitor and update SPC database for current production parts
  • Work side by side with production to improve the process and successfully train operators
  • Participate in MRB review of discrepant parts
  • Work with data team to develop efficient and useful reporting tools
  • Summarize, prepare and deliver technical presentations to engineering and management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant technical degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience required
  • Strong understanding of composite and adhesive cure cycles is preferred
  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and tooling preferred
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Requires a strict attention to detail and strong project management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 USD annually, based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. Candidates for positions with Safran Aerospace Composites must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.
