Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist

Caddo Parish Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Certification or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The Speech and Language Pathologist will work in a school setting, providing services to students in grades K-12. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals.
