Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessments and ongoing treatment to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring to ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless integration of medical and nursing services.
  • Participate in team conferences and contribute to the development of client care plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations and make immediate referrals as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest training and continuing education requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program and licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a program dealing with addiction or behavioral health issues.
  • Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse, with current licensure per state requirements.
  • Knowledge of state and federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
