We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Phlebotomist to join our team at PruittHealth. As a CNA Phlebotomist, you will provide routine daily nursing care and services to patients, perform phlebotomy activities accurately and professionally, and maintain a constant awareness of policies and procedures.

• Provide daily nursing care and services to patients in accordance with their assessment and care plan, and as directed by the nurse supervisor.
• Perform phlebotomy activities accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.
• Handle laboratory data collection systems and equipment to ensure requests for laboratory tests are properly ordered, cancelled, and charged.
• Correctly identify patients to avoid mistakes that can affect blood collections.
• Perform specimen processing, preparation, and distribution of specimens.
• Maintain a constant awareness of policies and procedures, and ensure enforcement of infection control processes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, reassuring them and making them feel at ease.
• Document all information correctly and maintain confidentiality.
• Order and maintain laboratory supplies, and keep work areas clean and properly stocked.
• Comply with all OSHA, CLIA, and federal regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved phlebotomy training program.
• A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required, with geriatrics experience preferred.
• Active, current, and unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the appropriate state.
• Phlebotomy Certification.
• Driver's license.
