Job Description:
TRS Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Travel ICU Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across the country, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU or critical care
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
