Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history and positioning them appropriately.
  • Interpret and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiographic Tech, or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
