We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Department Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, supervising a team of hourly associates, and ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Leader: Supervise and motivate a team of bakery associates to achieve business objectives, communicate goals and expectations, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and industry trends to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation, and compliance.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Identify training needs, provide and develop necessary skills, and encourage career growth for team members.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bakery production experience, including decorating.
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.
