Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a non-profit facility owned by the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation, seeks a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Outpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to our patients, utilizing the latest advancements in technology.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive hourly wage of $44.09 to $70.54, based on experience and education. In addition, new hires are eligible for a $20,000 Retention Bonus. Key Responsibilities- Perform radiation therapy treatments by following and verifying referring providers' orders.
- Educate patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed.
- Operate treatment and treatment planning equipment to include simulation in accordance with departmental policy.
- Prepare treatments and administer prescribed doses in accordance with established policies.
- Demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures in accordance with established policies.
To be successful as a Radiation Therapist, you must possess a strong knowledge of clinical care, normally obtained through an Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field. National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency, if applicable, are also required. BLS certification is mandatory.
