We are seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in Lewiston, ME. As a travel nurse with GLC on the GO, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and symptoms
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of ME
  • 2+ years of experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit
  • BSN degree or higher
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
