Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in Lewiston, ME. As a travel nurse with GLC on the GO, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and symptoms
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of ME
- 2+ years of experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- BSN degree or higher
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
