Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Scranton, PA. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional speech therapy services to students in a supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders, and develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educational staff, families, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system for student development and progress.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Certification: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Pennsylvania state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly advantageous.
