Job Summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at 30 Prospect Avenue. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular cases, scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists.
  • Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team of radiologists and vascular surgeons.
  • Manage groin sites post-intervention.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year prior experience as a licensed Radiology Tech required.
  • Strong knowledge of fluoroscopic modality machines.
  • Ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
  • Ability to critically think during interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralists.
  • Ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to Sectra system.
  • Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication.
  • Ability to maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays.
  • Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate information to patients.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
