RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Geriatric Unit team at Community Medical Center.
About the Role:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. As a Geriatric Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for our elderly patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
