Position Overview

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Administer both basic and advanced life support treatment while evaluating patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and Registered Nurses to identify, intervene, and stabilize patients.
  • Execute interventions in accordance with transport team protocols.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions and treatments accurately.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and therapeutic interventions.
  • Ensure the safety of the transport team, patients, and the public by maintaining and inspecting equipment.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
    • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
    • One of the following credentials:
      • Paramedic specializing in Flight certification from the International Board of Specialty Certification.
      • Paramedic certification from the Florida Emergency Medical Services.
  • Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant job-specific experience.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
