About the Role:
Huntington Hospital Inc is seeking a skilled Environmental Service Aide Floor Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning functions in all areas of the facility, adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Clean and maintain carpet and hard floors, including buffing, stripping, applying floor finish, scrubbing, carpet extraction, and carpet bonneting.
- Work effectively with blood and body fluids in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional quality care for patients.
- Be flexible with hours and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Some floor care experience preferred, with prior EVS experience in a hospital setting an asset.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
What We Offer:
- A competitive compensation package, with an anticipated base rate of $23.00 - $25.80 per hour.
