About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist Supervisor to join our team in Huntington, WV. This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing microbiology lab test methodologies and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall facility mentorship on developments, trends, and observed issues related to microbiology analysis
  • Support the lab manager in projects and day-to-day micro lab management
  • Lead site environment controls and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct audits and drive implementation of corrective actions
  • Develop and implement laboratory process improvement projects and validations
  • Stay up-to-date on current and future microbiology technical and regulatory trends
  • Interpret microbiology results and provide technical advice and support to other departments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience
  • Fluent English language skills
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience and 1 Year of Demonstrated Leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Microbiology or related field
  • Experience in sterile medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in dynamic teams
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, life, retirement, and flexible time off.
