We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Openwork/Rock Staffing in Griffin, GA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt and processing of incoming shipments, including verifying inventory and updating records
  • Coordinate the packaging and shipping of outgoing products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed to efficiently move goods
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping and receiving

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Steel-toed boots and a valid forklift certification are required
