Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tire & Battery Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Tire & Battery Technician, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and working collaboratively with other associates to meet member expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a Team Player: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in the TBC area and modeling high-quality service and products.
Requirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
