Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at Swift Heating & A/C. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation units. Your technical expertise and strong communication skills will enable you to diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation units.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding system issues and recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Quote customers for the costs of HVAC repairs, replacements, and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program preferred.
  • Valid HVAC technician certification and/or relevant licenses.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigerants.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
