- Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies, as well as food service department policies and procedures
- Assure proper safety and sanitary techniques are performed in all areas of food service
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Food Service Manager or equivalent
- Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification
- Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, direct reports, and community staff
- Previous experience in long-term care
- Previous cooking experience
