South Franklin Circle, a premier independent living community in the Cleveland suburb of Chagrin Falls, is seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team.

The estimated salary for this role is $19.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour when clocking in after 3pm.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food items at the correct temperature and portion size, adhering to government regulations and established policies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in preparing special diets and proper consistencies.
  • Maintain awareness of members' dietary needs and communicate with nursing staff daily about any changes or status.
  • Communicate stock needs, diet changes, and important member information to fellow associates and manager in a timely manner.
  • Clean and sanitize dishware, kitchen, and pantry after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience using standard cooking techniques in a fine dining restaurant, casual dining cafeteria, hospital, or assisted living setting.
  • ServSafe food handler certification (training can be provided if needed).
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, early evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
