About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our team at CareNow.

Job Summary: As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the imaging department. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses, allowing them to receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting radiologists with diagnostic imaging procedures, taking patient history, documenting electronic health records (EHRs), and maintaining accurate records and logs. Additionally, you will assist with check-in/check-out processes, audit charts, and communicate effectively with patients and visitors.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting, with a high school diploma or equivalent required. A graduate of an accredited school of medical assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is also necessary. General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NRT) license is required in the state of residency. Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred, as well as current BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
