Your primary duty will be to ensure customers receive the highest quality service while accurately and efficiently processing cash register transactions. You will also be tasked with addressing customer questions, supplying essential company information, and reconciling daily cash register totals. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills and be adept at using a calculator, making this role particularly suitable for individuals with a background in finance.
Please be aware that this position requires weekend shifts and mandatory overtime to maintain continuous store operations. Typical weekday hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend hours from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Process customer payments both in-person and via phone using the correct payment methods (credit card, account, cash, or check)
- Input and verify order details, including customer name, account number, payment amount, and payment type
- Coordinate pick-up orders at the register, collaborating with the sales team to obtain necessary signatures
- Compile and balance daily receipts to ensure accuracy
- Email necessary customer documents (credit applications, account setups, authorizations, etc.)
- Foster positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Monitor the change drawer for accuracy and alert the accounting team if adjustments are needed
- Maintain daily spreadsheets to track financial transactions
- Handle both paper and electronic filing, scan delivery records, ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately, and resolve payment discrepancies
- Keep office supplies adequately stocked for employee use
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as Cashier, Retail Associate, Receptionist, or similar positions involving customer interaction and financial transactions
- High School Diploma or G.E.D is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred
- Experience handling high-value transactions that may involve multiple payment methods (cash, credit card, etc.)
- Strong mathematical and calculator skills are essential
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Willingness to work overtime and weekend hours is required
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone manner
- Proven problem-solving skills with patience and courtesy
- Team-oriented individual who is respectful and eager to assist others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
