Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Your expertise will be essential in performing a variety of imaging exams, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology certification program or registered in Radiology.
  • ARRT-R certification is required, with CT certification preferred.
  • No experience required, but a strong foundation in radiology and imaging techniques is essential.
