Enhance Your Manual Therapy Expertise with Comprehensive Mentorship
At Madden & Gilbert PT, we are expanding our outpatient physical therapy practice and are in search of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid PA PT License for our Mechanicsburg location.
We are looking for candidates who embody the following qualities:
Manual Therapy Proficiency:
You are capable of performing Grade V mobilizations for patients, or you are eager to learn and enhance your manual therapy techniques. Our practice provides a COMT program for our DPTs, with all team members either having completed or currently pursuing this certification. Our experienced clinicians are committed to mentoring others, and we seek DPT candidates who are enthusiastic about learning and advancing their skills.
Examples of Grade V mobilization techniques include:
Reverse Ehrhard, long axis distraction of the lower extremities, lumbar roll, thoracic thrusts in both supine and prone positions, and non-physiologic locking.
We prioritize Patient Outcomes. The effectiveness of our DPTs is measured by the graduation rate, which reflects the number of patients who meet their goals, complete their treatment plans, and successfully graduate from physical therapy.Our DPTs with the highest graduation rates are those who are genuinely concerned when a patient is not progressing as anticipated.

As a DPT, effective communication with patients, physicians, and fellow team members is essential. Each group has its own terminology, and we seek a DPT who can simplify complex concepts for patients while also engaging in professional dialogue with colleagues. About Madden & Gilbert PT:
We have been serving the Central PA community since 2003 as an outpatient practice. With 7 locations and plans for further expansion, our team consists of over 100 members, including more than 40 DPTs. Opportunities for professional growth are available.
Our Mechanicsburg office has been operating in its current capacity since 2009, and you will be joining a team of 5 clinicians. The Clinical Director, Jon Milliron, DPT, COMT, has been with us since 2009.
In addition to the COMT program, we offer a structured mentorship initiative for all clinicians, whether they are new graduates or seasoned DPTs.
