Job DescriptionAs an Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Providing direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on student goals and progress.
- Staying current with best practices in speech-language pathology and applying new techniques and strategies to therapy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- A valid IN State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred) or completion of Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
