Child Development Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students.

About the Role

This full-time position is located near Huntertown, Indiana, and requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have active Indiana State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure, as well as knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs
• Develop and implement tailored interventions to enhance students' academic and social-emotional functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments and promote student success
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to foster positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Active Indiana State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
