We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Instacare in Henderson, Nevada. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the admission and check-in process, orienting patients and their significant others to the patient care setting.
- Collect, report, and document assessment data, including vital signs, height and weight, current medication information, and billing data.
- Prepare patients for medical or surgical interventions and complete interventions within the scope of practice.
- Assist physicians or licensed independent practitioners with treatments or procedures and obtain and track specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Administer and manage medication, including oral, IM, SQ, rectal, and intradermal routes.
- Document assessment data, interventions, and patient information accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with supervisory RNs, physicians, and licensed independent practitioners regarding patient care and updates.
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Approved IV certification (as required by the facility).
- Ability to link up to the company's online database twice a day.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in urgent care or hospital settings.
