Your Responsibilities

As a Home Care Aide (HCA) / Caregiver, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
  • Helping with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
  • Providing medication reminders and documenting the client's condition and any concerns
  • Ensuring a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
  • Participating in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • One year of relative experience in a similar field
  • CPR certification
  • A valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation (preferred)
  • A compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
